The Will-Grundy Counties Central Trades & Labor Council, AFL-CIO is dedicated to fighting for the rights, dignity, and well-being of our local Union Brothers and Sisters. As a proud coalition of union members and advocates, we work tirelessly to protect fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to organize. Through collective action, education, and strong community partnerships, we stand united in our mission to ensure that labor rights remain a top priority in our region. Our council meets on the third Monday of each month, bringing together representatives from various trades to discuss pressing issues, share resources, and strengthen the voice of organized labor.
Beyond our advocacy efforts, we take pride in celebrating the hardworking men and women who keep our communities running. Each year, we host an annual dinner to honor union members and community allies who champion workers’ rights and contribute to a stronger labor movement. Funds raised during this annual dinner are used to endorse political candidates who prioritize labor rights and fair policies, ensuring that the voices of working families are heard at every level of government. At Will-Grundy Counties Central Trades & Labor Council, we believe that solidarity is the foundation of progress, and we remain committed to building a future where all workers are respected, protected, and empowered.
